Impact, momentum, deflection, recovery — those are not metaphors here, they are the mechanics. My job is to keep testing the sport honestly and to resist finishing it until the entire game is perfected.
What gets written in stone is always decided on the floor, with people playing it, arguing about it, breaking it, and putting it back together in a way that accretes and accelerates its evolution.
